Greater Grand Forks is a growing community surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Upper Midwest farm country. The Grand Cities has many attractions, fine dining, and recreation for the entire family.

Grand Forks is home to the University Of North Dakota, with nearly 150 academic programs, including law and medicine, and has one of the best Aerospace centers in the country. 

In Grand Forks, you can find the Ralph Engelstad Arena, a 100 million dollar hockey facility and home to the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux championship hockey team. You can also find the Alerus Center, home to UND's football team and various concerts in town. Also, enjoy a night of theater and entertainment in the Chester Fritz Auditorium, the Empire Arts Theater, or the Fire Hall Theater.

If you like to shop, the Grand Cities has many places for you. You can stop by the Columbia Mall, the Grand Cities Mall, or the Grand Forks Marketplace, all located in Grand Forks. Or, head across the river into East Grand Forks where you can find Cabela's, the "World's Foremost Outfitter." Also in East Grand Forks is the Riverwalk Center, where you can find many unique toys and gifts.

Downtown Grand Cities hold many specialties, locally owned shops. Check out the Farmer's Market, located downtown of Grand Forks, in the summer and fall. Or choose from many different restaurants including Whitey's, Applebee's, The Blue Moose, or Mike's Pizza and Pub, all located downtown East Grand Forks.

If you like art, Grand Forks is home to the North Dakota Museum of Fine Arts, the Myra Museum, and the Badman Design. You can also stop by one of the many parks in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks, including the newly remolded Sherlock Forest Playground in East Grand Forks.
