Attractions in Thief River Falls, Minnesota

We are close to Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge which is the largest wildlife refuge in Minnesota. Snowmobiling, ice fishing, camping, hunting, golfing, bird watching, fishing, and tubing are many of the outdoor activities in which visitors can enjoy. The Pennington County Fair, held every July, has northwest Minnesota’s largest bull riding event.

The new Ralph Engelstad Arena, the premiere hockey arena in Northwestern Minnesota is near completion and opened its doors to the public November 2003.
